![]() CounsellingCounselling is a powerful means of overcoming inner obstacles and finding a way through issues with a trained listener.How to decide if it will help you: We begin with a single FREE,one hour meeting in a private and confidential setting for you to talk about the issues you are facing in your life, and to get all your questions about Counselling,and about me, answered. If you feel comfortable enough with me, and you decide to go ahead we then plan to have a short series of weekly one-hour sessions. The number of sessions in this initial series is flexible and is usually between 3 and 6. In the last of these sessions we review the progress made so far, so that you can decide whether to end or to continue with further work. The overall length of time spent in counselling depends on the issues of the individual and the depth of work required. Short term counselling (just a few sessions) can be sufficient for some difficulties. Longer term counselling and therapy is available when the issues need a deeper or wider process of self exploration and discovery. Progress is reviewed regularly according to the felt need. |
